Brown Street Bespoke has a busy couple of weeks ahead and it is all starting now. It is 9pm and I am about to sew two plum and orange ‘Deco Garden’ cushion covers for tomorrows Market 22. As usual tomorrows Market 22 promises to be a great day out. I love talking to design and craft enthusiasts who have combined their visit with shopping at the Otago Farmers Market and visiting Toitu. Brown Street Bespoke will have some new designs on sale- laptop bags and a very special circular linen tablecloth with a handprinted border of Manuka flowers. Very Arts and Craft with a 70s twist!
And then… The Vintage Roundup on the 9th and 10th of March.
Tannia from Most Wanted Vintage has been doing a fabulous job of promoting the marvelous Vintage Roundup. ( The above photos are from bollards at the University of Otago). Otago’s best Vintage Clothing collectors and shops will be selling some of their stylish gems under one roof. This will be a fantastic opportunity to buy a special vintage item or two for Dunedin’s ID Fashion Week. Or just come and look and be inspired. I know I will be.
